321 and 321H Welded Stainless Steel Tubing are titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel types, with 321 having superior weldability and intergranular corrosion resistance, and 321H with added carbon content (0.10% max) for increased creep and elevated temperature strength. The two types contain 9–12% nickel and 17–19% chromium. The tubing has tensile strength of 515–750 MPa and yield strength of approximately 205 MPa. Welded fabrication enables economical manufacturing with sound structural integrity and corrosion resistance through 900°C temperatures.
